Zelda Wilder is on the run, this time from the ruthless assassins who’ve decided she knows too much to live.

“Playboy Prince” MacCallum Lockwood Tate isn’t about to let the beautiful player who stole his heart get away—if only he could decide whether he wanted to save her or strangle her for her dangerous choices.

After tracking her down to a casino in St. Croix, Cal follows Zee back to Tortola where he intends to keep her safe. One problem: Zelda’s criminal liaisons are one step ahead of her.

Lives are threatened, and all of the players' skills are tested in this plot to capture a killer and save a princess.

Cinderella meets Ocean's Eleven in this CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE DUET featuring secrets, lies, royal high jinks, scams and double-crosses; breathless, swooning lust, cocky princes, dominant alpha future-kings, and crafty courtiers, who are not always what they seem.

MY REVIEW

The continuation of The Prince & The Player, Zelda "Zee" Wilder left her younger sister, Ava in the hands of Monagasco's future king, Rowan. Zee also sacrificed her love for MacCallum "Cal" Lockwood Tate, the playboy younger prince. Now, she's on the run but not for long.

I only know as much as I don’t deserve him, he’s my prince. I gave my heart to him, and no matter how far I run, I’ll never stop wanting him.

Rowan managed to control Monagasco after the attempted of his assassination, Cal and the elite guards determined to bring her back for safety. Their enemy hired a sadistic hit-man and Cal must found Zee before he did. The suspense is back! Cal was angry and confused with Zee's web of lies but he finally understand his love for her. Their reunion was intimately romantic with a lot of makeup sex. Zee admitted he's in love with Cal since the first time he seduced her.

She’s bare in front of me, and a little shiver moves through her. I watch her breath swirling in and out in little pants. She’s the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen.

The plot was predictable. Zee was caught by the hit-man because her naivety to trust her friend. Money always came first. Zee suffered the torture for a month in unknown island. The suspense is killing me! Zee was smart enough not to endanger herself after she found out something unexpected.

When they got back together again, I was glad Zee isn't traumatic kind of woman. She's really a survivor and strong woman. Cal and the elite guards works really hard. I admired them so much. My only issue was how easily they defeated the enemy. But there's another one on the loose. Maybe for another story?

The story told from dual POVs, Zee and Cal. Overall, Dirty Players duet was really enjoyable and great read. Straightforward story for a picky read like me. Not your average cinderalla's story. It was mixed with romance, suspense and action. I really liked their journey. Cal and Zee really match made in heaven. I really wish for Rowan and Ava's story because I couldn't feel the chemistry beside insta-love from the previous book.

I’m not the princess in this story. I’m no Cinderella. The good news is, it doesn’t matter. We’ve both found our happily ever after.
